It's finally Friday

It's been a really long week but nothing soothes me quite like these two adorable pups. They want nothing but dinner and a good scratch... and maybe endless hours of staring.

IF Double

Here's my first entry for Illustration Friday. My friend Susie, the same Susie that made me this adorable painting of Henry and Lola, introduced me to this project for artists. Each Friday the website announces a topic and you have one week to complete it, this week's topic: double.

It felt really good to spend a little time creating something for fun and now I can't wait to see what next week's topic is.

Who's your daddy?

Remember this guy? Well, he's now officially a dad! My brother said, in the way only he could, that Baby Calvin "power slid in to the world" early yesterday morning. Calvin was about a month early but mama and baby are doing fine and daddy doesn't look too uncomfortable with the whole thing. In fact, he looks pretty darn comfortable. And that baby looks pretty darn cute. Congratulations!
